Anybody know the song playing during the autopsy? I downloaded What Lies Beneath by Days of Ruin, but that isn't it.
Looking for the song at the end when Taylor has date with pretty brunette.
What about the song at the end? It was kind of slow and had a strange ryan adams feel?
lyrics during autopsy are:
I cannot reach the dizzy heights
I'm buried underneath a veil of lies
But I can't control that...
But I know not where I go
Like a couple of other people here, I'd like to know the name of the song and the artist that was heard at the end of last night's episode. Thanks!
I cannot reach the dizzy heights
I'm buried underneath a veil of light/lies/life
and in this grave I place my confidence
how can I not believe I won't rise again
but I can't control the fall
and I know not where I've gone
Those are more accurate lyrics for the song from the autopsy/crime scene. I've google'd, iTunes'd and now asked the official Twitter accounts, with no luck so far.
Does anyone even know who the group singing the song might be? I have searched on several places with no luck there . . .
song on the end:
Daniel Wylie - blue velvet sky
http://www.amazon.com/Ramshackle-Beauty-Daniel-...
oops .. .. sorry ignore that last statement
Any news on the song from the Autopsy and Crime Scene scenes yet . . . would really like to know the artist and song myhself.
Still Nothing. TBH you would think that CBS would have the songs from each episode listed somewhere or is that too logical
Yeah, too logical.
I've been hunting for the last few days.... no luck.
I'm pretty sure they must be irish, although i've started searching scottish now too.
Any news on the last song of the episode when Mac meets that girl?
I am pissed! the song at the autopsy is the ONLY SONG that everyone wants and no can find it! Why is that the only song that can't be found? You would figure that with all the interest that the band would want the exposure to make money!
I've emailed both Ausiello and Kristen from E! hoping they might reach out and find the autopsy song. Maybe if more people emailed/asked them they'd do it?
total bs, everyone all over the internet combined cant seem to find the autopsy song its as if they are intentionaly keeping it secret
this is gettin out of control, no one can this song. I've been tryin for days now still got nothin.
I sent a message to CBS, but I doubt I'll get anything from it. Somebody out there knows what it is....
Hey maybe you will get an answer from CBS . . . or maybe if all of us send messages to CBS they will give up the secret. How did you message CBS?
Everybody here please send your requests to CBS for info on a title/artist of the song. If they see there is high demand, maybe they will help us.

emailed CBS, got no help at all, only a canned response about how I should send a letter to the production team and they gave me the address.
oh and it took 5 days for them to respond. also email a US based online Irish newspaper that has a special section for music, sadly they have no clue but have passed it on to others they know and are still looking.
For those interested I dug the email out of my trash, here's the address you'll get:
CSI: NY
Jerry Bruckheimer Television/CBS Productions
in assoc. w/ Alliance Atlantis
7800 Beverly Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036
I got the same response. CBS is zero help.
End song at the deli could be by Rushmore, doing a cover possibly. They are a band from Devon, UK, with bros. Ed & Neil Ormand on vocals.
Unconfirmed as I've not been able to listen to anything I actually know is them.
still no luck on this song? anyone? this has been driving me nuts now for over a week.
Betty I'm gonna find this song first!
I think the song during the autopsy is by Flogging Molly and is called Man with no Country
it's not FLOGGING MOLLY. They aren't the ONLY irish band.

THANK YOU DAMIEN! THAT IS THE SONG AND I LISTENED TO IT TO MAKE SURE. IT IS THE AUTOPSY SONG!
damien, you rock! thank you so much! How did you discover it was them, btw? I am curious. :)
Thank you so much, damien!
I was watching the answers to this question on another site & a user with the name of the band posted the answer there.
now im wondering where THEY found it! LOL
Thanks for finding out who sings this
ok this leaves the Aubrey & Mac scene at the end!
It is not "The Ambience Affect" but "The Ambience Affair" Thanks
What is the song played when Danny and Lyndsey go to the Irish bar to talk to the barman?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, the song when D and Lyndsey go to the bar?
